About Kernel,CPU speed and governer
I recommended Doom Kernel v6 hc (128-1113Mhz)
Set the CPU
speed 192Mhz as min for prevent lags and 998.4Mhz as max to prevent over
heating & over clocking
I prefer to use interactiveX or SavagedZen
If you are lite
user like music play,book reading,net browsing,chatting,that means same task
for long period
then used InteractiveX because it will stay in low CPU level for long
time and save more battery
If you are
interested in games or running CPU loading hard works for long time
then used SavagedZen(Smartass-based kernel with many modifications)
because it will stay the maximum optimum speed for long time and save
battery
Most of the
users are interested in SmartassV2 but its also good for performance and
battery.
But it mostly
use the CPU center values (460-576Mhz) for long time unnecessarily,even low cpu
loading task
So it may be use
little bit more power than previous ones,try it if you interested in it for
performance.

I thought you previously use any other custom kernels? Because some kernels had not that only but have some other stuffs.
DeleteSo you must flash the phone first with official firmware update without rom and then flash the kernel what you want but select kernel.sin and loarder.sin.
Finally flashed with rom.

Could you mod a Status bar Icon for Setting. I mean when touch and hold Icon on Status bar it'll acess to setting. It's quick and very convenient, i think so...

You need Root your phone and Flash GB ROM 2.3 for X10.
